Natural Heritage Sites: India has 7 natural heritage sites, which are recognized for their unique natural beauty and ecological significance. These include the Sundarbans National Park, the Great Himalayan National Park, and the Western Ghats.
Mixed Heritage Sites: India has 1 mixed heritage site, which is recognized for its outstanding cultural and natural value. This is the Khajuraho Group of Monuments.
In addition to these World Heritage Sites, UNESCO has recognized many other cultural and intangible heritage elements of India, such as yoga, Kumbh Mela, and classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathakali, and Kuchipudi.
